Katherine Egan | Fordham University | Fordham IT Executive Director, Organizational Effectiveness
Katherine is the Executive Director for Organizational Effectiveness at Fordham University, where she has worked for the past 29 years. After starting as a programmer/analyst with Fordham’s IT department, Katherine quickly moved up the ranks into leadership positions that drew on her expertise with communications, strategy and planning.
Today, Katherine heads a team that drives strategic organizational design, performance and success within Fordham IT. She also provides guidance and oversight in talent management strategies, growing professional development, workplace improvement strategies, and the strategic implementation of integrated marketing and communications programs. She is dedicated to ensuring a culture of employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and appropriate work-life balance.
Katherine earned a BS in Computer Science/Mathematics from SUNY Maritime College, an MBA from Fordham University, and an MS in Professional and Technical Communication from NJIT. Most recently, she became a certified Holistic Health Coach at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is happily applying her newfound knowledge in Fordham IT’s Wellness Program for staff.
