Jim Carey is an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co, responsible for driving technology solutions within Corporate Systems. While Engagement Director to Credit-Suisse he spearheaded a number of large transformational programs inclusive of a new Global Securities master, a re-engineered Client Onboarding experience, and the technology enablement of a new Prime Services legal entity. As SIO of a corporate systems Finance & Accounting group at AIG he oversaw efforts during the financial crisis in support of global Budgeting & Planning, Financial Reporting, Legal Restructuring, and Divestitures.
Before Wall Street, Mr. Carey enjoyed a ten year management consultancy tenure at Computec, Ernst & Young, and James Martin & Company where he interfaced with many Fortune 1000 executives, provided exceptional value, and assumed significant roles at clients.
Jim started his career at the Aetna Insurance company as a member of a multi-year IT management program that afforded an unparalleled exposure to executives, business, and technology. Twenty plus years later, Mr. Carey remains passionate about use of technology as an enabler for business outcomes and enjoys leading such transformational programs.
Mr. Carey holds a Computer Science degree from Syracuse University and a MBA from the University of Hartford. Jim resides in Bergen county NJ with his wife and two children.
